IVAO Active ATC ("the App") is developed by Koray Birand. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use it.

Data the App Accesses

The App accesses the following publicly available data from the IVAO network API:

• Active Air Traffic Controller positions (callsigns, frequencies, ATIS text, connection times)
• Active pilot positions (callsigns, flight plans, coordinates, altitude, speed)
• ATC coverage area polygon data

This data is publicly available through the IVAO API and does not contain personally identifiable information. The App fetches this data in real time and does not store it beyond the current session.

Local Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device using standard system preferences (UserDefaults):

• Search text — Your last search filter is saved so it persists between sessions.
• Map position — The map camera position is saved so the map returns to where you left it.

This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to any server. You can reset this data at any time by deleting the App.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• IVAO API (api.ivao.aero) — To fetch real-time ATC and pilot data from the IVAO network.
• Apple MapKit — To display maps and satellite imagery. Apple's MapKit may collect usage data as described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

The App does not integrate any analytics services, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or social media SDKs.

Tracking

The App does not track you. We do not use any advertising identifiers, device fingerprinting, or cross-app tracking technologies. The App's privacy nutrition label on the App Store reflects this: Data Not Collected.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information from any user of any age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
